The film “Trip to America 2” is a sequel to the American comedy about a black prince in the States. During his first trip to New York, Prince Akim Joffer found the woman of his dreams, Lisa. Now he returned with a different purpose: to find the illegitimate son, whom he still did not know, and to bring him home to Zamunda. Finding him was easy enough. The boy, Lavelle Junson, still lives in Queens with his mother Mary. Akim convinces them to go with him, but now a whole series of new problems arise. Lavelle must go through a series of grueling trials to prove his royal worth. Even before the future prince can live with his father, he finds himself in a marriage of convenience to Bopoto, the daughter of General Izzy, the leader of a neighboring military dictatorship. As his list of responsibilities builds up, Lavelle begins to wonder if he shouldn’t have just stayed in Queens.
