Sonic Movie 2 is a continuation of the adventure of a super-fast hedgehog who arrived on Earth from another planet. After battling the evil Dr. Eggman, his new friends Tom and Maddie agree to take Sonic into their home and then go on vacation for a romantic month. Soon, Robotnik, with the help of Echidna’s ally Knuckles, returns back to the real world to together find a magical emerald that can destroy or build civilizations. They want to take possession of the artifact for the sake of power and ruthlessly rule the universe. While trying to escape his enemies, Sonic meets the young fox Miles Tails, who joins him on a perilous journey to be the first to get the emerald before the villains wreak havoc.
