Biography
In addition to acting Gomez-Preston has been writing scripts for feature films; she has her own production company.
Born Gomez-Preston in Detroit, in a family of Puerto Rican Cheryl Gomez and an African-American Bennett Preston. She has a younger brother Kyle.
When Reagan was a baby, her mother worked in the Detroit police Department. Cheryl Gomez, generally speaking, was one of the first women in the world, admitted to patrol the streets. Because of insults, racist remarks, threats to life and health and non-workable interest from the side of her head, she eventually was forced to leave work; however, she left the loud, winning goodbye to a sexual harassment suit against the police Department of Detroit and received about a million dollars compensation.
Soon after these events, Cheryl moved the family to Philadelphia. Here Reagan was fond of acting and dancing; in addition, she began taking singing lessons at the local theater. Her parents eventually divorced; in 1994 Gomez-Preston along with his mother and brother moved to Los Angeles where her acting career could go much harder.
In addition to acting Gomez-Preston has been writing scripts for feature films; she has her own production company. Her mother lives in California, where the daughter helps to manage the project ‘Chery Creative Concepts.com’. Father Reagan, Bennett, working as a pathologist in Philadelphia.
Reagan’s acting career began with the role Zaria Peterson in ‘The Parent ‘Hood’; next was a recurring role in the UPN’s ‘One on One’. Also the actress played in the short lived Comedy series channel UPN ‘Corporation ‘Love” (‘Love Inc’) and ‘the Amanda Show’ (‘the Amanda Show’).
Reagan has twice appeared on the cover of the popular magazine ‘King’ in September-October 2003 and in December 2006 only five models in the entire history of the magazine managed a similar trick.
Reagan was shot multiple times in music videos – ‘Sorry 2004’ by Ruben Studdard, ‘No Better Love’ the group ‘Young Gunz’ and ‘Whatever You Like’ Ti-ay.
At the moment, the actress voiced the stepdaughter of Cleveland, Robert Tubbs in the animated series ‘the Cleveland Show’ (‘The Cleveland Show’); in this position, she was replaced by actress Nia Long.
From 1995 Gomez-Preston met with model Dewana Tarrentino. They were married in 1999; in early 2007, there appeared their daughter, Scarlett Annette Turrentine.
