Short biography
Born November 10, 2000 in the city of San Diego (California). Mackenzie took her first steps as a model at the age of 4 years. She actively worked with the agencies Garnet Hill, Guess Kids and Polo Ralph Lauren, advertised products of famous brands. On account of Foy a huge number of photo shoots, more than 10 videos (for Burger King, Pantene and other large companies). Brand Zuri Model & Talent included Foy among his best fashion models, and Hollywood photographer Dani Brubaker, with whom she worked for a long time, called her “a model from birth.”

Despite the success in the fashion industry, the girl decided not to stop there and tried herself in the movies. As an actress, Mackenzie made her debut in 2009 on the Long and Happily TV series. Around the same time, she received a cameo role in the eighth season of the series “Charmed”.

The most important event in the career of a young actress happened in 2010. She endured a difficult casting, bypassed her rivals – Taylor Swift, Bella Thorn – and got the role of Renesmee Cullen, daughter of Bella and Edward, the main characters of the popular vampire saga “Twilight”.

Stephenie Meyer, the author of all the “twilight” books, knowingly gave her voice to this very pretty girl with extraordinary green eyes. According to her, McKenzie most of all resembled the book image of the Cullens miracle daughter. However, it was not only the external similarity. In the tests, Foy was head and shoulders above all of her peers, proving that she could play her heroine well, endowed with an extraordinary gift.

Actor’s talent, natural charm and amazing hard work have done their job: McKenzie became famous, she began to be invited to other film projects. Thus, for Foy, the Twilight Saga became a springboard to the world of big cinema: a year later it was noted in the films The Conjuration, Plastic Jesus and Wish You Well. The premiere is scheduled for 2013.

McKenzie firmly decided to become a professional actress. She had to sacrifice the life of an ordinary child who goes to school with her peers: because of her employment in the cinema, Foy was forced to go to home schooling. However, from her main hobbies – playing the piano and dancing – the girl did not refuse. The young star still takes music lessons, goes in for ballet and step in a choreographic studio.
