American actor and producer; winner of the ‘Golden globe’ prize ‘Emmy’.
Ted is known for her title role in the classic sitcom “Cheers” (Hello), the role of “Sam Malone”, and the role of “John Becker” in the TV series “Becker” (“Proprietary”).

Danson is the son of Jessica Danson and Edward Bridge Danson of Jr., who is an archaeologist and Museum Director. In 1961, Ted got to school, Kent, where he became a basketball star. He became interested in dramatic art, when he continued his education at Stanford University; then Danson transferred to Carnegie Institute of technology (now known as Carnegie Mellon University) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor of fine arts in drama in 1968.
Danson began his television career as a contract player in soap Opera, broadcast in the daytime, “Somerset”. He played the role of “Tom Conway” from 1975 to 1976.
