ESTEBAN ERNESTO ECHEVARRIA
The American actor.
Born December 2, 1956 in Havana, Cuba in the family of an employee of the airline and a school teacher.
Real name is Esteban Ernesto Echevarria.
In 1960 with his parents emigrated to the United States. Grew up in Miami, Florida.
He graduated from high school coral Park in 1974. Studied dramatic arts at the University of Miami. He was a student of theatre courses at the Stella Adler Conservatory. Debuted on off-Broadway stage under the name rocky Echevarria.
Since 1977, he starred in the TV series. Took the pseudonym Steven Bauer, used the surname of his grandmother on the maternal side, German Jewess.
He was famous for performing the role of Manolo Rivera in the action movie “Scarface” (1983 Award “Golden globe”).
