Biography
Shearer was born on August 10, 1902 in Montreal (Canada). At the age of nine years old girl has decided to link their fate with an acting career, although her mother did not believe in such a possibility. But with the support of his uncle, in 1919, Norma was able to go to New York and show Broadway impresario Florenz Ziegfeld. Unfortunately, due to the completeness of the girls Florenz not taken her in his company, he also criticized her slanting eyes and short legs. But purposeful Norma Shearer was determined to go to his purpose. Soon she was able to pass the casting for filming the film company Universal Pictures.
