Biography
British actor and producer.
Full name – Bernard Nigel Hawthorne.
After Nigel Hawthorne played in the theatrical production in Cape Town, he decided that he needed to make a career on the British scene, and at 22, went to England in his pocket 12 pounds. However, success has become only the second attempt to become an actor, in 1963.
For a long time he played in the theater and on television, while in 1977 a role in the film “Yes, Minister!” They glorified him for the rest of Britain. Having been working in “Watership Down” film, “Faster than the wind,” “The Madness of King George,” “Victoria and Albert” and others.
He died of a heart attack at age 72 at his home in Hertfordshire.
