Marlene Dietrich (German. Marlene Dietrich), full name Maria Magdalena Dietrich was born December 27, 1901, in Berlin.
Biography
Her father was a police officer Louis Erich Otto Dietrich, the mother – Wilhelmina Elisabeth Josephine Felzing. Louis Dietrich died in 1911, and in 1916 his widow married a family friend Eduard von Losch, but soon died from injuries sustained in the First World War. The family of Marleen called “Lena” and “Lena”, and about the age of 11 she folded her “Mary” and “Lena”, the result was the well-known name “Marlene”.
