Biography
Mario Götze was born June 3, 1992 in a small town Memmingham, which is in the south of Germany in the land of Bavaria. His first steps in football, young talent began to do at the local youth club “Ronsberg.”

Mario has two brothers. Senior brother Fabian is also a footballer. Like Mario, a pupil of football schools “Ronsberg”, “Eintracht” and “Borussia”, now he plays for the second team of “Mainz”. The younger brother’s name is Felix, he is also a footballer and stands for the young line-up of “Borussia”.

In 1998, Mario’s father was promoted to a technology professor at the Technical University of Dortmund, and the entire family of Goetz from Memmingham moved to Dortmund.
