Short biography
Born November 22, 1965 in the capital of Denmark. In his youth, Mads began to cinema and for some time was busy in the film industry, and at the age of thirty he completed his studies in acting at a drama school. In addition, for a long time Mikkelsen was a professional dancer. Soon he began to fall small roles in various projects, among which the tape Dealer, which was released in 1996, became the most noticeable. Only four years later, the first actor came to the actor thanks to the painting “Flickering Lights”. Then he was enrolled in the main cast of the Danish series “The First Group”. Gradually, the name Mads became increasingly appear on the pages of magazines. Another notable role was the game in the film “Open Hearts”, and in 2004 Mikkelsen starred in the historical film “King Arthur”, where Clive Owen and Keira Knightley became his partners on the set.
