LYNN RACHEL REDGRAVE
March 8, 1943, London, UK – May 2, 2010, New York, USA.
Rachel Lynn Regreyv – a representative of the famous acting dynasty. She was born in the family of actor Sir Michael Redgrave and actress Rachel Compson.
Acting career beginning in 1962, it is – the owner of two “Golden Globe” for the films “Georgy Girl” (1966) and “Gods and Monsters” (1998). Twice nominated for Ockar (1966, 1998) and four times a BAFTA BAFTA.
In 1991, Lynn has performed the role of Masha on the stage of the Royal Theatre in the staging of Chekhov’s “Three Sisters”. The cast played and Vanessa Redgrave.
A few years ago, Lynn Redgrave was detected breast cancer. Despite the diagnosis, the actress continued to actively act in films. Among her recent roles – work in the films “best friend”, “Deep,” “Peter Pan,” “Kinsey,” “The Jane Austen” and “Confessions of a Shopaholic.”
In 1967, Lynn married to actor and director John Clark, having given birth to three children by him. The marriage broke up in 2000.
The actress died of cancer on 68 th year of life.
