The American actor.
Full name Louis Cameron Gosset ml.
In high school played basketball. But after the injury he had to quit sports. And then he became interested in the school theatrical productions. Enrolled at new York University at age 18. At the age of 19 was casting for a role in a Broadway show “Take a big step”, beating two hundred. The production was a success and the actor became the best newcomer.
In 1957 he debuted on screen in the series “the Important stuff”. Later played more than 170 roles in films and on television, including “the Abyss”, “my Enemy,” “an officer and a gentleman”, “the Legend of the mummy”, “the Dead zone” and others. Received many awards, the most important of which is the “Oscar” for best actor in a supporting role, Golden globe for best actor in a supporting role in the film “an officer and a gentleman”, Golden globe for best supporting actor in a television movie “the Story of Josephine Baker” and “Emmy” for her role in the television series “Ancestors”.
