Biography
In the 1980s, Dennis began performing in numerous entertainment shows. His first partner on the stage was Russ Abbott of ‘Russ Abbot’s Madhouse’ and ‘The Russ Abbot Show’. Later, Lesya’s colleague was a parodist named Dustin Guy. Their fruitful collaboration led the artists to create their own program – ‘The Laughter Show’. After Guy’s death in 1986, Les continued to lead the ‘The Laughter Show’ on his own, and then became the third host of the ‘Family Fortunes’ show and led it for fifteen years, from 1987 to 2002.
Les Dennis (real name Leslie Dennis Heseltine) is an English comedian, TV presenter and actor. For fifteen years, Dennis was in the transmission of ‘Family Fortunes’.
The forest was born on October 12, 1953. He was born and raised in Liverpool. His father, who at one time was a member of the football club “Liverpool” (but did not participate in the games), worked in the “gambling shop” – the sweepstakes, and the mother worked at the factory. While still at school, Dennis began to work on Saturdays in the DIY store (Do It Yourself), and soon began to perform with satirical numbers in working clubs.

In addition to television, Les played a lot on the stage. So, in his account the role of Amos Hart from the musical ‘Chicago’ (Chicago) and the character Bill Snibson from ‘Me and My Girl’ (Me and My Girl). Dennis also worked in the production of ‘Skylight’ at the Water Mill Theater, Newbury and ‘Mr Wonderful’ at the Chester Gateway and Misery at Oldham Coliseum theaters. Les took part in a tour with Just Between Ourselves and played alongside Janet Souzman in the production of ‘Cherished Disappointments in Love’ at the London’s Soho Theater. He had the opportunity to work with Christopher Kazenove and John Dutton on a tour with the play ‘Art’, and also play the role of Norman Bartholomew in the black comedy Anthony Schaffer Murder (Murderer) at the London’s Menier Chocolate Factory. In the theater Birmingham Reperto Wood brilliantly played a role in the hit play ‘Neville’s Island’. One of his last theatrical works was the role of Mr. Falton in ‘High School Musical 2’, with which the troupe went on tour in the UK in August 2009.
Debut Dennis in the artistic ‘big’ movie took place in the movie ‘Intimate Relations’ (Intimate Relations), after which he appeared in the comedy ‘Large Size’ (Large) and the short film ‘Wildlife’ directed by Nick Elsop.
In September and October 2005, Les took part in the filming of the ‘Gameshow Marathon’ project, in which he went home to the prize winners and handed them their prizes. In 2006, he started on the ‘One’s The Sound of Musicals’ program on the BBC channel, and also starred for the ‘New Street Law’ show.
In the summer of 2006, Dennis played the role of screenwriter in the comic play ‘Marlon Brando’s Corset’, which he went on tour in his homeland in July 2006. In August 2007, Forest again appeared in a hit play called ‘Certified Male’, which tells of the ups and downs of modern men. This play was shown at the Theater Festival in Edinburgh. After that, Forest again went on tour with the production of director Michael Bogdanov’s “Servant of Two Masters” (The Servant of Two Masters). At Christmas, along with Hollywood veteran Mickey Rourke, Dennis performed in the pantomime Cinderella at the Empire Theater, Sunderland. In 2008, Les began a new show of ‘funny home video’, titled ‘Les Dennis’s Home Video Heroes’, and also starred in the documentary of the ITV channel’ Les Dennis’ Liverpool ‘- it was one of the films about Liverpool.
In 1995, Dennis married actress Amanda Holden, but eight years after Les became aware of the love interest of Holden Neil Morrisey, the couple divorced.
On April 24, 2008, Les became engaged to Claire Nicholson. The couple had a daughter. In addition to her, Lesa has a son, Philip, born in 1979.
