At the age of 16 years, she had a chance to play in the school play – that’s when Cathy finally came to the conclusion that she really likes the play-acting, and comic and funny roles and thumbnails manage her better than the other. Subsequently, the actress Kathy Burke will be one of the favorite British Actresses, and yet – behind were not the most prosperous childhood, the future was rather blurred; the girl, however, believed in its success.
Actress Kathy Burke (Katherine Lucy Bridget Burke) was born in 1964 in London. Not too happy childhood the future actress was overshadowed by the early loss of his mother (she died of cancer when Katie was only two years), as well as the inability to live with an alcoholic father. So, up to six years the girl was raised by neighbours (the Galvin family). However, subsequently Katie lived with his father, who is also a mother, died of cancer in 1990. Her first job in film was the film of may’s Zetterling ‘Scrubbers’ in 1983. In the same year she appeared in another film – a drama by David Drury ‘young Forever’ (Forever Young).
