John Slattery (John M. Slattery) – American actor of television and cinema. He played on television and in the movies about sixty roles. Became widely known thanks to movies and TV series as “Law & Order” (1990 – 2010), “We are five” (1994 – 2000), “Sleepers” (1996), “Traffic” (2000), “Arrested Development” (2003), “Studio 30” (2006 – 2013), “The Cleveland Show” (2009 – 2013), “The Adjustment Bureau” (2011), “In the spotlight” (2015).
John was born on the thirteenth August 1962, the year in Boston (MA), the youngest in a large Irish family. He has a brother and four sisters. Their father – a merchant skins. In 1984, Slattery received a Master of Fine Arts at the Catholic University in Washington. He made his debut on television in 1988 with the role of an ordinary Leeds in the series “Dirty Dozen”. On the big screen, John Slattery first appeared in 1996, the year with the role of a detective George in the film “City Hall” directed by Harold Becker. His most famous role – Roger Sterling in the television series “Mad Men” (2007 – 2015), for which he was twice (together with other actors) was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award and four times claimed the “Emmy”.
John and his wife, actress Talia Bolsena, have a son, Harry.
