BIOGRAPHY JENNIFER MORRISON
Clarinet, chorus girl, cheerleader
Jennifer Mary Morrison was born in Chicago, and spent her childhood and youth in the town of Arlington Hite, Illinois. Her parents, music teachers David and Judy, had three children. Born April 12, 1979, Jennifer was the eldest. Her sister Julia is a singer and music therapist, and her brother Daniel is the headmaster.
The father and mother of the future actress are very respected people (David even received the title of “Teacher of the Year”), now both are retired. Jennifer studied at the same school (“Prospect High School”), in which the older Morrisons taught, and was a very active girl: clarinetist in an orchestra, a member of a support group, a soloist of the choir. In addition, Jennifer was a teenage model, advertised clothes “JCPenney” and “Montgomery Ward” and starred in commercials for children’s breakfasts “Krispies”. Even then, she was predicted for an acting future.
The biography of Jennifer Morrison continued at Loyola University in Chicago, in the theater department. This seemed to her a little, and after graduating from high school in 2000, she entered the Steppenwolf Theater Company, studied there for some time, and then went to “storm” Los Angeles.
Thirteen year old actress
Another thirteen-year-old schoolgirl Jenny played along with Richard Gere and Sharon Stone in the perekrestok melodrama (portrayed the daughter of their characters), and the following year, in 1994, starred in the Christmas fantasy episode “Miracle on 34th Street.” Then there was the shooting in the echoes echoes with kevin bacon and the urban legends 2 horror film.
Later in the biography of Jennifer Morrison there were also blockbusters – for example, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, however, the actress had only an episode there. But comedy with Ben Affleck “Survive Christmas”, in which Jenny also starred, failed at the box office.
Dr. Cameron
Morrison also had a job on television – guest roles in the youth series “Dawson’s Creek” and the multi-season fantasy “Angel Touch”. In 2004, the actress passed the tests in the show “Doctor House”: she was approved for the role of immunologist, Allison Cameron.
This character, along with resuscitator Chase (Jesse Spencer), neurologist Foreman (Omar Epps) and, of course, the title character, an excellent diagnostician with specializations in Infectious Diseases and Nephrology, Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) appeared in the first season of 2004 year. Jennifer, or rather her heroine, left the series in 2009 in the episode “Teamwork”, but returned several times as a guest star.
Mother and faithful wife
In 2007, the comedy “Big Stan” came out on screen, in which Morrison starred with Rob Schneider and David Carredin, and two years later she became the screen mother of the cult hero, Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), Winona in the blockbuster Jay Jay Abrams Star Trek. Winona occasionally appears in the sequel (“Star Trek: Retribution”).
Jennifer joined the cast of the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” playing Ted’s next love interest, Zoe. And in 2011, Morrison starred in the drama “Warrior” with Joel Edgerton, Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte. In a film about not very good brothers who intend to fight in a mixed martial arts tournament, Jennifer portrays Tess, Brandon’s wife (Edgerton).
Caught in a fairy tale Emma
Since October 2011, Morrison has played a major role in the ABC channel’s Once Upon a Time in a Fairy Tale show, Emma Swan, who turns out to be the lost daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince (Joshua Dallas).
At first, Emma does not believe the boy who appeared on her doorstep, who tells incredible things about enchanted fairytale heroes, but, having got into Storyribruk with him, begins to see clearly.
In April 2016, Morrison founded her own production company (she already had the experience of associate production on the Ryan Murphy’s Loser show).
PERSONAL LIFE JENNIFER MORRISON
Falling in love … on the set
Immediately after she began filming Doctor House, in July 2004, Jennifer began to meet with her show colleague, Jesse Spencer.
Their romance was in full swing when her boyfriend proposed to her. It happened on the top of the Eiffel Tower during their joint Christmas trip to Paris, December 23, 2006. They planned to get married in 2007, but they split up instead – in August of the same 2007.
In 2008, the personal life of Jennifer Morrison changed again – her new friend was Puerto Rican-born actor Amory Nolasco. They were together until 2011.
In May 2012, the actress had another affair with a colleague (this time on the set of “Once Upon a Time”) – the star of the First Avenger franchise, Sebastian Stan. Alas, this couple broke up – in August of 2013. Apparently, Jennifer pays too much time to work: her Emma Swan still reigns on television.
