BIOGRAPHY

Canadian actor.

Jacob Tremblay was born on October 5, 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in the family of police detective Jason and housewife Christina Tremblay. The little actor has two sisters: Emma and Eric. Jacob grew up in the City of Langley of the same province.

Debut Tremblay in cinema took place in 2013 with the voice of the cartoon Raja Gosnell “The Smurfs 2” and with occasional roles in the not very popular TV series “Motive”, “Mr. Young.”

In 2015, the young actor played in the film, which brought him considerable popularity and several nominations for prestigious awards. It’s about the work of Leonard Abrahamson’s “Room.” A year after, the tapes of Jacob have already been replenished with such tapes as Mike Flanegan’s “Somniy” and “Locked up” by Farren Blackburn (both of 2016).

During 2017, Tremblay participated in the creation of several interesting projects, among which Stephen Chbosky’s “Miracle” and Colin Trevorrow’s “Book of Henry” occupy a worthy place in his career.

During his life, the actor also starred in bit parts in the TV shows “American Dad”, “The Last Man on Earth”, “Beasts”.
