EUGENE KLASS
American actor and singer.
Born June 14, 1919 in Brooklyn, new York (USA) in a family of immigrants from Russia.
Real name Eugene Klass.
Since childhood, fond of creativity, sang beautifully, played the violin. In 1944, with great success debuted on Broadway in the musical “Catherine the Great”.
In the cinema since 1951. First major film role, Dr. Clayton Forrester in “war of the worlds” (1953). Later became famous as the actor of the TV series.
In 1965 gene Barry award “Golden globe” for the role of millionaire Amos Barca in the series “Justice Barka” (1963-1967), in 1993, gene Barry went on to play this role in the next series.
One of the best roles — psychiatrist Dr. ray Flemming in the detective “Columbo: Prescription” (1968).
Died December 9, 2009 in Los Angeles.
