Fred Astaire (real name – Frederick Austerlitz, born Frederick Austerlitz.) – American actor, dancer and singer. Born May 10, 1899 in Omaha, Nebraska. Died June 22, 1987 in Los Angeles.
Biography
Fred Astaire is the greatest master of the music genre in the movie, had an enormous influence on the development of the musical genre.
Frederick from childhood had a passion for singing and dancing. When his father suddenly lost his job, the family moved to New York, where the 6-year-old Fred with his sister Adele began performing on the stages of the city in various productions with dancing and singing. Then, in 1905, a brother and sister began to use the pseudonym “Aster” as a surname. With the assistance of his father, not without business acumen, soon, Fred and Adele have entered into a lucrative contract with the famous company «Orpheum Circuit» and started driving around with performances across the country.
