Franco Nero (real name – Francesco Sparanero, Italian Francesco Sparanero.) – Italian actor. Born November 23, 1941 in the Italian municipality of San Prospero, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. He grew up in Parma.
Biography
In school, Franco Nero staged performances, and then in the army was the head of amateur theater. Later, Franco Nero moved to Milan, where he studied at the Faculty of Economics, and at night moonlighting as a singer. While studying, he had not managed to finish, but for a while he worked as an accountant, but his main passion and left the cinema. Visiting the Roman film studio «Cinecittà», Franco Nero met with the directors Carlo Litstsani Antonio Petrandzheli and John Huston, who later offered him his first role in the film, and inspired him to the conquest of the screen.
Franco Nero film debut was the picture «La ragazza in prestito» directed by Alfredo Gianetti, taken in 1963. However, the world fame came to him after the rental in 1966, the film in the genre of spaghetti western called “Django” written and directed by Sergio Corbucci, where he appeared in the role of a “cold and lonely avenger” Django hero. After this picture Franco Nero started to get a huge number of proposals for the filming. In the 1970s, Franco Nero played many roles of prosecutors in different ribbons spaghetti westerns.
