ERNEST EFFRON BORGNINO
American actor, winner of the “Oscar” for Best Actor (1955).
Born January 24, 1917 (according to other sources in 1918) in the town of Hamden, Connecticut in the state.
Your real name and surname – Ernest Effron Borgnino.
His parents were Italian. The family was not rich, so Ernest, as the eldest of the sons, went to work very early. He was also an apprentice at the factory, and the Rangers at the ranch, where he learned to tame horses, and a baker, and a builder of high-altitude.
10 years he served in the Navy US.
After leaving the service, he went to school drama Randall in Hartford, Connecticut. After graduation he started to work at the famous Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia. In 1949 he made his Broadway debut in the musical “Harvey.”
In 1951, Borgnine moved to Los Angeles. Hollywood tried to “try on” the stuntman profession, the benefit could manage horses. The debut in the cinema – the film “Whistle at Eton Falls” (1951).
