Season 2002/2003 was the last for Beckham in Manchester United. Between the coach of the team Ferguson and David there were several conflicts, and David was sold to the team of Real Madrid for a ridiculous price for such a player – 25 million euros. In Real Madrid, he added to the composition of the stars, consisting of Raul, Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane and Roberto Carlos. His new number is 23, which was taken because of the great Jordan, whom Victoria remembered when choosing a room.
David Beckham was born in Leutonstone on May 2, 1975. The basics of football David began to comprehend in the London club “Layton.” After playing a couple of years for “Layton”, the promising young fellow moved to the football school “Tottenham”, which he successfully finished.
On July 8, 1991 David signed a contract with one of the best English clubs – “Manchester United” first as a trainee, and after a year and a half, on January 23, 1993, Beckham signed a professional contract. After he did not participate in the first two games, he scored a fantastic goal from the Colombian penal team in the last match of the group tournament for England and was named the national hero of the country.
All spoiled the match with Argentina. The English were well able to pass the Argentines, but the ill-fated removal of Beckham (this was his first removal in the whole career) did not leave the British a chance to get the World Cup. David simply did not cope with nerves, responding to the provocation of Simeone (incidentally, the latter later admitted that he feigned the injury).
Upon his return to his homeland Beckham was recognized as the main culprit in the defeat, and the football player turned into an outcast. He was attacked by a lot of criticism. Many experts were inclined to believe that David’s football career in England came to an end, but Beckham himself had a different opinion … In the first match of the Premier League against Leicester, David scored his own goal with a free kick, thus bringing the victory to Manchester United.
In March 1999, David becomes a father, his son’s name is Brooklyn, his son’s name was given in honor of the place where the baby was conceived. In July 1999, David married Victoria Adams, a member of the pop group Spice Girls. They say that she impressed him by not asking for an autograph, and he (and her parents) for washing the dishes after the first lunch.
