Dan Aykroyd – American screenwriter and actor, best known for his comic roles.
Biography
Born on July 1, 1952 in Ottawa (Canada). His father was a civil servant at the end of his career, he served as Deputy Minister of Transport in Ottawa. Dan Aykroyd has received higher education in his hometown, at the University of Carleton in the department of psychology, political science and criminology.
However, after graduation, Dan started to work on the radio, and then began to speak with a Canadian theater improvisation «Second City Comedy». He quickly began to reveal itself not only as an actor but also as a talented writer and director of television programs.
The first major film work came in 1977, when Dan Aykroyd got the lead role in the film “Love at first sight”. After this tape the actor starred in several films, but they have not brought immense popularity.
