Biography
He was born in Dublin in 1976. His father was a professional soccer player and his mother – a housewife. Also Colin, the family had three more children. All the children of the family Farrell received a Catholic upbringing. Nevertheless, the young Colin Farrell differed very obstinate character. He often skipped school and had a lot of bad habits. At 17, he was expelled from school for fighting with a teacher. After this incident, the young man with his friends the whole year went to Australia, where he lived completely alone.
For 18 years, he returned to his native country, and on the advice of his brother began to study at the school of acting. It was the right move, and in 1996 Colin Farrell gets first film role.
