Yarmolenko Andriy is a football player of Dynamo club (Kiev) and national team of Ukraine. On the field, he can act on the position of a flank midfielder or striker. Usually playing on the left flank midfield or assault. This is due to the fact that the working footballer has a left foot. Always Andriy’s coaches have noted the great amount of work he performs during any game, regardless of its status.
Childhood
Andriy Yarmolenko, whose photo is presented below, was born on October 23, 1989 in the city of Leningrad. His parents are natives of the village Smolyanka Chernihiv region (Ukraine), and in the northern capital went to work immediately after the wedding. Three years after the birth of Andrew, they returned to their homeland and settled in Chernihiv. According to the memories of the mother of an athlete, interest in the ball in her son began to manifest at the age of four.
The first football steps
In the childhood Andriy Yarmolenko spent a lot of time playing with the ball. One day after this occupation, he accidentally noticed the coach Mykola Lisovy, after which he immediately invited the boy to engage in a local football school. Many friends of Andrew went there, so he agreed. Subsequently, the boy became a youth player of the Chernihiv “Youth”. At the age of thirteen, he joined the football academy of the Ukrainian Grand Prix – the club “Dynamo”. A year later, Andrei was forced to return to his native Chernihiv because he could not stand the competition. Here he began to act as part of the local “Desna”.
“Dynamo Kyiv)
When Yarmolenko turned sixteen, he was called again in Dynamo. Then the players trained Anatoly Demyanenko. For the first two years, the guy played in the backup team. The mentor himself repeatedly positively spoke about the young man as a footballer with a great future, but under his leadership Andrew did not play any match. The match against the Vorskla club from Poltava, held on May 11, 2008, became a game when Andriy Yarmolenko debuted as part of the main team. “Dynamo” in 2009 was headed by Valery Gazzayev. In this case, the coach was a regular player to act on the “basis”.
At first, in official games, Andrei most often scored one hundred percent points. Because of this, he was strongly criticized not only for the press, but also team supporters. Regardless, Valery Gazzayev continued to bet on him. An interesting incident happened on March 15, 2010, when after another failed match the footballer refused a post-match interview with a journalist from one of the TV channels with the words: “I’m not a footballer.” This caused another wave of sarcasm and jokes at his address. In any case, the mentor’s trust had positive results: Andriy Yarmolenko progressed in terms of technology and football intelligence. The player later recalled that on the first training game, Valery Georgievich put him on the left flank of defense. After the end of that “two-sided” boy came to the mentor, apologized and said that in such a position, he does not receive any satisfaction from football. He did not answer for this, and the situation has not changed. A few months later Andriy was transferred to the midfield, and only then, he said, he realized that the head coach did it only to enable him to play around the flank and, if necessary, qualitatively work out in defense.
When in 2011 Gazzayeva replaced Yuri Semin, the player’s place in the starting line was not contested. Currently Andriy has grown to be a leader not only of his team, but also of the national team. Not surprisingly, coaches of many European teams would like to see this football player in their squad.
Ukrainian national team
The player acted as a member of the youth and youth teams of Ukraine. In 2011, he became the leader of his team during the European Championship (among footballers under the age of 21), held in Denmark. As part of the national team of Ukraine, Andrei Yarmolenko played for the first time on September 5, 2009. This was a match with Andorra during the 2010 World Cup qualifier. The player needed only 18 minutes to score his first goal scored. Ukraine then won with a score of 5: 0. Andrew made his first (and so far the only one) hat-trick for the Ukrainian national team in November of 2014 against Luxemburg. As of September 2015, a player in the national team played 51 matches, in which he scored twenty goals scored.
