BIOGRAPHY
Born October 8, 1970.
Widely known for his work in theater and film. Among the achievements of the theater – plays role in the “Days of Wine and Roses” (directed by Peter Gill.) At the Donmar theater scene and “War and Peace” (the company Shared Experience).
For the role of Fiona in “Shameless” series on Channel4 Channel received IFTA Award for Best Actress in 2004, and the following year was nominated for a BAFTA award. Two years later she again was nominated for a BAFTA Award for her role as Elizabeth in “Elizabeth: The Virgin Queen”. Among other Duff projects on television should mention the role in the film “Charles II of” (directed by Joe Wright.), “Doctor Zhivago” (directed by Giacomo Kamtiotti.) And “sinners” (dir Ayling Walsh.) – The latter role brought her in 2002 . awards at film festivals in Monte Carlo and Shanghai.
Anne-Marie starred in Otto Bathurst “Margot”, dedicated to one of the greatest dancers of our time, Margot Fonteyn. Thanks to the inimitable game Duff, the film Peter Mullen’s “Magdalene Sisters” won the award for best film at the Venice Film Festival and the Critics Award at the Toronto Film Festival.
In 2006, he played the role of Sophie, a pregnant woman fleeing from her abusive husband, Dominic Savage in the film “born equal”. She also starred in the film “The French film” Hugh Bonneville and Douglas Henshall (award for best film at the film festival in Monte Carlo) and in the film of John Crowley, “Is there anyone there?” With Michael Caine and David Morrissey.
AWARDS
