Pearl Bailey was born 29 March 1918, died 17 August 1990. She was a famous American singer and actress. The first major success was on the stage of the cabaret, after which her career began to develop rapidly in all directions.
Pearl Bailey was born in Southampton County, Virginia. At the age of 15 she debuted on the big stage. The first performances were held in the pearl theater, “Pearl Theater” in Philadelphia.
