The American actor. Most known for his role as captain John Sheridan in the television series “Babylon 5” and the subsequent television series.
Bruce Boxleitner was born in Elgin (Illinois) in the family of auditor. Attended high school in mount Prospect (Illinois), and Theatre school of drama named Goodman at the art Institute of Chicago.
The debut of Bruce Boxleitner on television took place in 1973 in the series “Mary Tyler Moore”. In 1982, he played a major role in the sci-Fi Thriller “Tron”. Altogether the actor played more than 100 roles (mostly on television), but widely known for his role as captain John Sheridan in the TV series “Babylon 5” and the ensuing television series.
From 1977 to 1987 years Bruce Boxleitner was married to actress Kathryn Holcomb, they have two sons, Sam and Lee. In the years 1995-2012 was married to actress Melissa Gilbert, who played his wife in the TV series “Babylon 5”. They have a son Michael.
