Majel Barrett-Roddenberry (b. Majeļ Leigh Hudec February 23, 1932 – December 18, 2008) – American actress and producer. The wife of the screenwriter of the famous TV series “Star trek” Gene Roddenberry
Biography
Already as a child Megel took acting lessons. After studying at the University of Miami, she began to obtain roles, and finally went to Hollywood. There she worked on such series as “bonanza”, “The Untouchables” “the Lucy Show” and “Lieutenant”. August 6, 1969, the actress was married to Gene Roddenberry. The wedding took place in Japan after the end of the original series “Star trek”. 5 February 1974 they had a son Born, who later became a television producer.
Her first role in “Star trek” was an unnamed officer in the pilot episode “the Cage” in 1964.
Died in 2008 from complications of leukemia.
