BIOGRAPHY
English actress.
Born in 1973 in Bath, Somerset, England, UK. His mother was Italian, a native of Switzerland. His father – a native of India.
Successfully acted in productions of “Musical Youth Theatre Company”. In 1995 she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.
Played on the stage of London’s theaters “Donmar”, “Wyndham”, “Royal Court”, “Royal National Theatre”, “Vic Theatre”, as well as in the “Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts” in New York, Dublin theaters. She performed leading roles in plays based on the works of Shakespeare, Harold Pinter, Noel Howard, Chekhov, Proust.
The first role on screen – Kitty in the movie “Clancy’s Kitchen” (1996). Popularity received after the execution of roles in films on Indian motifs – “Kama Sutra: A Love Story” (Maya, 1996) and “Genie” (Ruti Jinnah, 1998). Filmed in English and in American TV serials.
