Victoria Azarenka was born in Minsk in 1989 and became the most famous Belarusian tennis player. At the age of fourteen, she moved to the United States, where she lives until the present.

Since the age of seven, Victoria has been seriously involved in tennis, and since 2002 she began to professionally perform it, having performed for the first time in competitions in Minsk, but having lost in the first round the Russian tennis player Puchkova. Her first tournament Azarenka won in 2003 in Tashkent, from this moment began her successful career in junior tennis. In 2004, winning a series of tournaments, Victoria reaches the semi-finals in Wimbledon. 2005 was the final in junior tennis and the most successful. Of the six tournaments held, Azarenka wins in five, twice wins in the Grand Slam tournaments and wins the title – the best young tennis player of the year and breaks into the ranking of the most recognized tennis players of the world, having managed to gain a foothold in the Thor 300.

The next few years were successful in the career of Victoria. Having conducted a number of successful tournaments in Europe, it rises in the rating and is assigned to the position of TOP 200, but by the end of 2006 Azarenka rises in the rating to 96 places. 2007 -2009goda successful in the career of a tennis player is difficult to name, Azarenka did not win any prestigious competition in singles tournaments. But, health problems and failures did not break Victoria.

In 2012, she wins the semi-finals in Wimbledon, wins singles at the Olympic Games, second only to Serene Williams. Successfully performs in the US Open, reaching the finals, wins tournaments in Beijing and Linz, thereby rising to the highest line of the ranking and becoming the first racket of the world.

In 2013, Azarenka holds three unbeaten tournaments at the Australian Championships, wins the Doha tournament, reaches the final at the championship in California. At the end of the year, Azarenka took the third place in the ranking, losing to Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
