Taron Egerton was born on 10 November 1989 in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England. Raised in Wirral, he then moved with his whole family to the Welsh island of Anglesey and then to Aberystwyth, where he remained until the age of 20, becoming passionate about acting. At just 21, his love for the stage won him the Stephen Sondheim Society ‘Student Performer of the Year’, which will allow him to become a member of the National Youth Theater and attend the Aberystwyth Arts Center. After studying at the Ysgol Penglais Comprehensive school, he decides to become an actor and moves to RADA, graduating in drama in 2012.
