American actress of theater, cinema and television.
Full name – Mary Ellen McDonnell.
Mary McDonnell graduated from New York University in 1974, then went to school acting and joined the group of theater “Long Wharf” in New Haven, where he served for more than twenty years. In 1978, the debut of Mary McDonnell on stage in New York theater in the play of Sam Shepard’s “Buried Child”. She played on Broadway and worked in television.
He starred in “Dances with Wolves” movies, “Grand Canyon”, “12 Angry Men,” “Donnie Darko,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “High Crimes” and others.
Since 1984, Mary married to actor Randle Mel, they have two children.
