Biography
Marco Royce was born in Dortmund and started playing in the clubs of his native city: until the age of 14 – in “Post Dortmund”, then – in “Borussia”.
At the age of 17, he moved to Rot-Weiss for playing practice and soon won a place in the starting lineup.
The debut for the main team took place in September 2007, just for the “Rot-Weiss” Royce played 16 matches and scored one goal.
Since 2009, he plays in Borussia. He made his debut in the Bundesliga in 2009, in a match against Bochum. Then the game ended in a draw – 3: 3. In total, in his first season in the Bundesliga, Marco Royce scored 8 goals in 33 games played.
