Lino Ventura (real name – Angelo Borrini) was born in Italy, in Parma. This haplology actor, previously engaged in Boxing, was as if especially created for the roles of “cool” cops and bad guys. In the movie he debuted in 1953 in the gangster Thriller Jacques Becker “don’t touch production” and the end of 50-ies have already played lead roles in French and Italian films. He became famous by starring in the spy Thriller by Claude Pinoto “Le Silencieux”(1972). In 1982, Ventura played the role of Jean Valjean in the film adaptation of “Les Miserables,” directed by Robert Ossana. For the life of Lino Ventura managed to play in 76 films.
