A former soldier and now a simple vagabond Paul, traveling the Wild West, along with his faithful dog, come to the small town of Denton. The bar between the hero and one of the local bandits tied dispute and finally Paul called to the fight in which he easily defeats his opponent. He is a disgrace to the offender in the eyes of all the inhabitants of the city, and then, yielding to pressure from the local marshal, left the locality. He stops in the field for the night, but soon the bandits, whom he humiliated in the city find it.
