Henrik Mkhitaryan is a footballer of Manchester United and the Armenian team. Performs on the position of attacking midfielder, has experience of playing and on the position of the supporting midfielder. He was born on January 21, 1989 in Yerevan (Armenia).
Mkhitaryan is the most famous Armenian football player in Europe, as well as the record-holder for the number of goals in the history of the Armenian team.
Career
Mkhitaryan started playing football in Pyunik in Yerevan. At the age of 14, he visited an internship at the Brazilian club “Sao Paulo”. At the age of 17 he made his debut in the first team of Pyunik and in the first game he scored the ball into the goal of Chirac. In Armenia, Mkhitaryan managed to become the champion of the country four times, and also to win the Armenian Cup.
The game of Mkhitaryan for Pyunik attracted the attention of a number of foreign clubs. They were interested in Moscow’s Lokomotiv, Dynamo Kiev, Lyon and Lille. But in the end Henry became a player of the Donetsk “Metallurg”. On July 16, 2009, he made his debut for a new club in the match against MTZ-RIPO in the qualification of the Europa League (3-0) and again scored a scored goal. At the end of 2009 he was recognized as the best football player of Armenia. Successful game Mkhitaryan in “Metallurg” led to the fact that he soon became the captain of the team.
