When in primary school children are asked what they dream to become in the future, as a rule, all meet virtually identical: an astronaut, the seller of ice cream, or the president. But the protagonist of films named Michael Edwards has always seen himself as a well-known athlete, lifting his native country’s flag in a huge stadium. Unfortunately, the boy was not inclined to sport, constantly trying himself in various disciplines, but then throwing everything in the middle. Michael’s problem was that he was more than anything else wanted to go to the Olympics, but did not know what kind of sport it most likable. And if the other guys were training hard since childhood, trying to fully master a particular discipline, then Edwards only a teenager figured out where he can fully realize themselves. Deciding to become a master of skiing and learn how to jump from a springboard, the main character goes on a special basis, planning for weeks to achieve the desired result.
But childhood dream had to be postponed, as soon becomes clear that Michael is not able to keep his balance and normally stand on skis.
