Biography
British comedian.
In six years, Dudley Moore started singing in the church choir and playing the piano and violin. He quickly proved himself as a talented pianist and organist (in the 14 years he has played the organ during church weddings). Musical talent helped Moore won a scholarship Magdalen College in Oxford. There he played in the theater group of the University of Oxford “Oxford Revue.”
Dudley Moore’s film career began in the 60s, he starred in such films as “Bedazzled,” “Living Room”, “Dirty Game”, “By being unfaithful,” “The best way to protect”, “Blame It on the Bellboy”.
In June 2001, when the actor is almost left the cinema, he received the honorary title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Despite the deteriorating health Moore, in a wheelchair and silent, he appeared at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Order it handed Prince Charles.
The actor died on March 27, 2002 as a result of pneumonia – complications of paralysis broke it.
