Celeste Holm was born in the spring of 1917 in New York. She was the only child of a Norwegian businessman Theodor Holm and American artist Gene Park. Fourth marriage Celeste Holm was the most long-playing – it was chosen stage actor Eddie Wesley, with whom they had lived thirty-five years, until the death of the spouse.
