Ben Kingsley (real name – Krishna Pandit Bhandzhi) – English actor, winner of “Oscar”, a BAFTA, “Golden Globe” and the Screen Actors Guild. Born December 31, 1943 in Scarborough (United Kingdom) to the family doctor of Indian origin Raimtully Arzhi Vanzha and English actress and model Anna Lina Maria.
The first educational institution for Ben was a school for the arts in Manchester, the second – University Salfold, third – Pendleton College. Alias “Ben Kingsley” aspiring actor took on the advice of his father. His first professional steps Kingsley made at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the troupe which it adopted in 1967.
