Billions of people have died from the dreaded virus, and that small part that has managed to survive, and now live hidden deep underground. Survivors want to invent a time machine to go to the elapsed time and prevent an epidemic, as well as to find those guilty in this. But knowledge of the surviving few, they decide to learn good science. The protagonist of films, James Cole, a former prisoner, sent back in time to eliminate the epidemic.
